Since we’ve gotten into Mexico we’ve been spending a lot of time away from everything. Hiding away for days on the beach, waiting for the waves to get surfable. Since the waves weren’t always there, we’ve had a lot of free time to ourselves.
One never really thinks about just how many hours, minutes, and seconds there are in a day. (24 hours, 1,440 minutes and 86,400 seconds). That’s A LOT of time to fill. So amongst other things, I started stacking rocks.
Making use of my patience, I piled up one stack at a time until I had six little towers.
This beach in particular was swarming with birds. There were all kinds of pelicans, cormorants, seagulls and other species of which I don’t know the names. As the sun began to set, a duo of cormorants got curious and started prodding my little rock towers. I’d like to think they where appreciating the art.
