Pelicans Chillin – Wallpaper Wednesday

I never really paid too much attention to birds before I became a photographer. I always liked watching them soar through the skies but now I see them in a different, more open, light. I analyze the details, the shape of their wings, location of colors, length of the beak, height of flight, etc.

One species of bird that I’ve come to love are Pelicans. They soar through the skies and ride the air currents of passing waves like seasoned professionals. Watching them dive to catch fish in the ocean is also impressive.

This time around they where just chillin’ on a rock, enjoying the early morning light.
