Our trip around the island was truly an epic one. We had all sorts of adventures and it gave us a taste of what it would be like traveling the world together. Thousands of pictures and many videos were taken and I learned a lot about photography. A while ago I read somewhere to never put your camera away until your completely out of the scene and for this wallpaper it’s what allowed me to get this shot.

While we were in Bayahibe we got to see the sun set behind a group of sail boats with their sails down. I saw the picture I wanted and shot away but started leaving the scene feeling like I didn’t capture exactly what I wanted to. So, I turned around after walking a few hundred feet and BOOM, saw the money shot, snapped this picture and kept walking happy to not have put away my camera. The sun sets pretty fast so you get very little time to grab the image you want.
