Wallpaper Wednesday – June 25th – Computer Garden

There are so many different plant variations in the world that it’s incredible, sometimes even a bit overwhelming. I think about people who know these plants down to the species variations, what they have in them and how it affects the soil around them and I think it’s incredible.

These little guys can be seen all over the place in the DR. They grow up the bark of trees and sprout when there’s been a lot of rain. When it’s too hot and it hasn’t rained in a while they spiral up and dry out, waiting for the next storm to pass.

I titled today’s Wallpaper Wednesday “Computer Garden” because when I set it as my desktop background it made me feel like the plants were growing out of my computer. Kind of like your own little, virtual, garden.
