Wallpaper Wednesday – August 27th – Tranquil Blue

When I open up my laptop the first thing that I want to see is something that brings tranquility to my mind. It helps me get into my workflow and provides a nice switch from the outside world to the computer world. Most of my wallpapers do this, but some more than others. This week’s wallpaper is one of the “more than others” that I’m talking about.

One of my favorite things to photograph is waves. Surface tension makes it so that every wave is different. Not only that, but the splashes after the wave’s break also have a mind of their own. Sometimes I wish I had slow-mo vision so that I could see every little detail that was happening as the waves crash.
