Being an island, the Dominican Republic is riddled with beautiful beaches. Some are commercialized, some have waves which brings surfers, but others are just there. Miles and miles of nothing but sand, water and coconut trees.
There was nothing close that we could see at this beach except some flag markers in the water. We’re not sure if these are there for the fishermen to see where their traps are, to let people know where shallow reefs are, or if they’re some sort of other point markers. Either way this beach was coconut tree heaven.
