A little over a week ago there was some pretty good swell that came through Cabarete. Unfortunately Jade and I couldn’t surf the last day of the swell so instead we went to go take some pictures. We got shots of all skill levels and people jumping, riding, turning and falling. As we started walking to the moto I snapped this picture and looking back on it realized there was a surfer riding a wave in the background. I stuck around for a bit longer to try to get some more shots but that was just perfect timing.

Black guys don’t surf so I guess I won’t be needing the tips that much from this short post :). But I do know of some guys from Australia who visits Antigua and Barbuda around this time of year and they might be interested in what DR has to offer as far as a bit of surfing goes.
Hey Kenny! Don’t let your race hold you back man… that’s just silly, all kinds of black dudes surf, I’ve got photographic evidence on my facebook. Also, this series is more about life lessons than surf lessons!

Thanks for the link proof. I never actually seen black guys surf before :).
I got the life lesson though from this post that doesn’t only apply to 1 genre of life (surfing).
