We took a trip to a local beach in Sosua called the Waterfront. This is a fairly new beach as not too long ago waves would crash on the cliff face. Something happened in the ocean and now there is a beautiful sandy beach there. We took our snorkeling gear as always and headed out into the ocean. At this beach there isn’t much to see except for some awesome underwater sand dunes and sand dollars.

I snorkeled out a couple hundred meters and saw this sand dollar exoskeleton popping out of a dune. I had to dive deep to get it but it was well worth it. With lots of caution I managed to get it home in one piece and snap a couple of shots. Enjoy the result =).
