Autumn in Maryland
While we were visiting Maryland we had a series of small outdoor adventures. Autumn Nature in Maryland We went canoeing, hiking, apple picking, and hunting for sunflowers. We came back with photos we love as treasures and we’re going to share some of favorites with you. Most have their own little story. Good Views, Good friends, Good times. The featured image above was taken from the top of sugarloaf mountain where we set up our hammock and just chilled for a few hours in good company. We were up there with the birds, enjoying autumn’s warm sun rays. Row Row Row your boat The following images were taken on a canoe trip right out of Gabriel’s uncle’s back yard. Ripples on a windy stretch of the ride. Water droplets shine in the early morning sun Our hidden canoe. Orchard Treasures These lovelies were some of the few remaining fruits at the end of the apple picking season. There weren’t many left on the trees for picking but we had no problem taking them right off the ground. Botanical Sunshine We were however in the prime of sunflower season, some ladies still had’t come to full bloom, such as this little one reaching out its petals to caress its first rays of sunshine. Still Time in Great Falls At Great Falls park we stopped time long enough to catch some long exposure images of the stunning sunrise, Old Rag Our favorite hike was getting to the top of old rag, where the 360 views are stunning and we snapped this shot. On our way back home we were lucky to witness a marvelous sunset. For the Birds On the edge of the Chesapeake bay, seagulls lined a pier in perfect military form. Everywhere we looked nature basked in the dwindling warm sunshine.
