The Dominican Republic is riddled with beauty. The island offers desserts, stunning mountains, gorgeous beaches, amazing rivers and spectacular views. This is one of those spectacular views from a special place on the North Shore called Playa Preciosa.
Also a local surf spot, this beach gets incredible waves, not always though. The waves here can be seen from the top of a 300 or so foot cliff and there have been times when the splash of the waves goes significantly over the cliff that you can see in this picture.

A beautiful country that I don’t think ranks as high as Puerto Rico or the Caribbean as a travel destination which I find disappointing. This picture is just one example of the beauty you can experience during a Dominican vacation. Great post.
