Minute Escapes: Birds After the Rain

Close your eyes for five minutes and escape your reality to be transposed to a completely different place, with a completely different pace. It’s a five minute getaway.

Birds After the Rain

In French we say “Après la pluie, le beau temps” which in English translates loosely to “after the rain comes sunshine” but really means “every cloud has a silver lining.”

Well, after getting hit with almost 2 months of mostly rain and cold weather down the west coast, the sunshine finally decided to say “Hey” in California, right after the “storm of the century” while we were heading to the race track to film my brother hard at work.

The birds in the tree above the hill were catching up on some overdue gossip, and this week we’ll take you right to the base of that lonely tree on the sunny California hill.

The December sunshine warming up your skin, the chitter-chatter of the ecstatic birds, and, if you listen carefully, the distant sounds of drifting race cars ;) That’s this week’s Minute Escape.

Put on your headphones. Close your eyes. Press play.
